Kane achieves his century goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has revealed that his enthusiasm in going back to the Premier League has faded and he is willing to discuss a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The star striker is at the moment midway through the four-year deal he signed when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the offseason of 2023.
The experienced forward has scored an outstanding 103 goals in 106 games for the German team, contributing them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which marked the first significant achievement of his notable career.
Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has recently mentioned that he would be pleased to see Kane return to England, where he requires 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring feat of 260.
However, the England skipper has now indicated that he is no longer as eager about coming back home as he once was, and would definitely think about lengthening his time in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could definitely see that," he stated.
"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be open to talk and have an straightforward conversation.
"Obviously it depends on how the next year or so goes and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not considering about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have realized in my career is that different chances and different periods happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."
Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the record top marksman for both Tottenham and England and lately became the fastest player this century to reach 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five leagues, securing the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a title had avoided him until he secured the German title last season.
Kane admits that he was not sure how he would respond after overcoming his trophy drought, but now feels it has made him eager for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.
"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
